At the end of the works, the square will be completely redesigned with large pedestrian areas, new street furniture and completely renovated bus terminals for the benefit of Romans and tourists.
The location of the temporary terminals and the platforms of the single bus lines as well as the most suitable metro exits to reach them, can be consulted in the section “terminal Termini” of our website.
The construction site will involve route diversions for bus lines 38, 82, 223 and 910 and the bus stop “Gioberti” (70433) will be closed. Bus lines C3, 16, 360, 649 will stop in via Giolitti, at the station entrance.
As to private mobility, the stretch of via Giolitti, from via Rattazzi to Piazza dei Cinquecento, will be reserved for local public transport and taxis. Limited access to private vehicles also on some sections of via Gioberti in the direction of via Giolitti, with the exception of local traffic.
Information will also be available on site through our staff and the Atac point on Piazza dei Cinquecento.
