Beware of fraudulent payment request emails
Customers are advised that fake emails are currently circulating which appear to come from ATAC. These messages imitate official communications and invite recipients to pay fines through links to external websites.
These are phishing attempts. ATAC never requests payments by email and never sends links for online payments.
We strongly recommend not clicking on suspicious links, not providing personal or banking information and always verifying the source of any message.
For official information regarding the payment of ATAC administrative fines, please refer to the dedicated section of our website or contact Customer Care through our official channels.
Please also note that ATAC does not manage payments for parking fines, which fall under the exclusive responsibility of Roma Capitale, as the competent authority.
ATAC is solely responsible for administrative fines related to fare evasion and other administrative violations on public transport.
Passengers found travelling without a valid ticket or with an irregular ticket will be issued with a penalty fare from 100 to 500 euros, in addition to the payment of the ticket price as well as procedural and postal costs, if applicable.
The fine is reduced by 50 % if paid within 5 days after notification.
You are considered travelling without a valid ticket when:
Log in to the portal and enter the number and surname written on the violation report and an email address that will be used by our system for further communications.
After having calculated the amount due, the system will send a first email with the payment notice in PDF and a link to the pagoPa wisp form for payment by credit card, satispay, postepay or bank transfer.
The payment notice received can also be used for payment at tobacconists (sisal and lottomatica) or at post offices.
Service not available for the payment of injunction orders.
