Through the app, users can plan their journeys, check real-time waiting times at stops, purchase tickets and monthly or annual passes, and receive live updates on service changes across the transport network.
In addition to travel services, the app allows customers to contact customer service, find accessibility information, and book the stairlift service at selected metro stations.
Registration is required to access all services. Customers who already have a MyAtac account can log in using the same credentials.
The current version will be further developed throughout 2026. By spring, new features will be introduced, including payment for on-street parking in Rome, integration with Tap&Go services for payment verification, and Atac Vantaggi, offering discounts and benefits reserved for app users. Additional services will be added in subsequent updates.
The new ATAC ROMA app brings together all the main urban mobility services in a single digital platform, overcoming the current fragmentation that requires customers to use multiple applications to access public transport services.
