Atac will carry out infrastructure renewal works on Metro Line A on 22 and 23 May 2026. As a result, metro services will be suspended and replaced by dedicated bus services.
On Friday 22 May, the final Metro Line A departures from Battistini and Anagnina stations will leave at 9:00 p.m. From that time onwards, replacement bus services will operate.
On Saturday 23 May, Metro Line A services will remain suspended throughout the entire day and replaced by buses.
During the interruption, from 8:45 p.m. on Friday until the end of service on Saturday, two replacement bus lines will operate: MA1 Battistini-Arco di Travertino and MA2 Flaminio-Anagnina. The two routes will overlap between Flaminio and Arco di Travertino in order to provide increased capacity along the busiest section of the line.
