Pursuant to Art. 48, paragraph 11 bis of Law  n. 96 21/06/2017, if you couldn’t show a suitable ticket to the ticket inspector, the sanction may be cancelled if you are able to demonstrate - with adequate documentation - the possession of a regular personal subscription that was valid at the time of notification. Please send us the following documentation:

  • cancellation request
  • copy of a valid identity document
  • copy of the violation report
  • legible double-sided copy of the travel pass
  • legible copy of the payment/recharge receipt. 

These documents have to be sent, within 30 days from the date of delivery or notification of the fine, to ATAC Spa - Commerciale - Verifica e procedimento sanzionatorio, Via Prenestina, 45 - 00176 Roma together with a copy of the penalty fare report by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt or by certified e-mail (PEC) to the address: protocollo@cert2.atac.roma.it.
