Each year, during the bathing season, the coastal bus lines that reach the beaches are enhanced.
BUS LINE 062
It connects the port of Ostia to Castelporziano (Lungomare Amerigo Vespucci) and runs along the seaside with stops at the Metromare railway stations Lido Centro and Cristoforo Colombo; the line runs every day.
This year, due to the heavy vehicle ban at kilometer 7,600 of the Via Litoranea, bus LINE 07 to reach the free beaches (the so-called “cancelli”/gates) and Campo Ascolano will be operated with two connections:
BUS LINE 07L
The line starts from Colombo station of the Metromare railway and runs along the Via Litoranea until gate 7, where it reverses and turns back to Colombo station.
Line 07L runs every day; first and last ride from Colombo station are scheduled at 7:40 and 21:10.
BUS LINE 07
Operated with small buses due to the heavy vehicle ban, the line connects Colombo station to Campo Ascolano (Via Litoranea km 10) running along the Via Litoranea.
The line does not serve the following stops:
From Colombo station, first and last departures at 7:40 and 21:30
From Campo Ascolano, first and last departures at 8:10 and 22:00
